GLP1 is an FDA-approved medication originally developed to treat type 2 diabetes. Recently, it has gained recognition for its effectiveness in aiding weight loss. GLP1 works by mimicking a hormone called GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1), which targets areas of the brain that regulate appetite and food intake.

GLP1-GIP is a groundbreaking medication that has shown remarkable effectiveness in aiding weight loss and managing type 2 diabetes. It activates receptors for two key hormones, GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) and GIP (glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide). These hormones play crucial roles in regulating appetite, insulin production, and glucose metabolism.

GLP R is a next-generation medication that activates not just GLP-1 and GIP like GLP1-GIP, but also glucagon receptors—making it a ‘triple agonist.’ Early studies suggest it may produce greater weight loss and metabolic improvements than GLP1-GIP alone.

Steps to Inject Your Medication

    • Gather your medication, an alcohol swab, a cotton ball or gauze, and a sharps disposal container.

    • Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water and dry them with a clean towel.

    • Common injection sites include the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm. Rotate injection sites to avoid irritation.

    • Gently pinch the skin at the injection site to create a small fold.

    • Hold syringe like a pencil and insert the needle into the pinched skin at a 90-degree angle.

    • Push the plunger on the syringe to inject the medication slowly and steadily.

    • Remove the needle from the skin and release the pinched skin fold.

    • Place the used needle into a sharps disposal container immediately.

    • Use a cotton ball or gauze to apply gentle pressure to the injection site. Do not rub.
